No rattling of our pots or pans on Good Friday


We are closed on Good Friday but will be open from 11 am Easter Saturday and Sunday. Monday hours are, as usual, from 4 – 7 pm. We will be there of course on Thursday evening, so pop in for a wind down with friends over a glass or two from our ever surprising blackboard list.
Feeling like a holiday indulgence? why not pick up a bottle of PX as a special Easter treat to accompany all that chocolate.

We are 3 ! Join us to celebrate


This Saturday, 18 March is our third birthday. Join us to celebrate and share a bubbly toast to the future. We will be serving 3 oysters and a glass of champagne for $20 all day from 11 am onwards. We have, of course, arranged for perfect weather on the day, 26 degrees and sunny, absolutely perfect. See you there!

As Autumn begins 4-7.30 pm mid-week has never looked better in Point Lonsdale. Every Wednesday, from March 8 for $25 you can enjoy a pizza of your choice accompanied by a glass from the daily pouring blackboard
For $30 you can savour a glass of a special opening, chosen by Jordan from the shelves to accompany your pizza.
Coming down for the long weekend ? pop in for some great buys or if you are taking off elsewhere, don’t forget you can phone through or order online.
We will also be serving our great toasties and Cartel coffee from 9am on the Saturday and Sunday of the Labour Day break
Our new something sweet selections, Persian Love Cake; Lemon Polenta with a Yoghurt Glaze, and a Chocolate Coffee Cake are all delicious; gluten free, and have all been extremely popular. Check them out on our Instragram.

We are having a long celebratory weekend


The Bellarine Peninsula comes alive this celebratory weekend. Local events include the Toast to The Coast; An Arts Trail and in our own Point Lonsdale patch, The Deakin Footsteps weekend . There will be live music at “The Noble Rot Corner” and some wonderful wines and fizz for imbibing and /or purchasing to help kick the celebratory weekend feel along. .. it’s horses for courses ….oh, and by the way in honour of the race we will be open on Monday , . wine-label1

October a great start-see us in print


We are thrilled to be featured in the just published Flavours of Victoria a fantastic and beautiful publication which highlights many of the culinary and tasting delights regional Victoria has to offer. Great as a gift, to plan an indulgent journey or just to leaf through with a glass of the best on a lazy sunny afternoon.

The first weekend of the month was celebrated in style with a special offer.. 12 dozen oysters complementary with a bottle of champagne … needless to say a few dozen oysters disappeared without trace!!

We are currently trying some special wines for our black board line up for the warmer months. Pop in and talk to Jordan about his thoughts and perhaps recommend something to him you would like to imbibe over the holiday period.

Our monthly wine dinners and food themed Sunday monthly lunches have been fully booked and hugely successful. Missed out on coming ??? watch this space for upcoming events or join our mailing list to ensure you get there next time.
