Winter Italian Lunch (Pranzo italiano inverno ) Sunday 19 June 1 pm
Think a 2 course Italian meal ($40 pp) featuring traditional ingredients, winter vegetables, a hearty slow cooked osso bucco and vegetarian options. To match the menu, wines can be purchased from our Italian wine shelf selection. Think Prosecco, Pinot Gris, Barolo, Chianti and more. Specially selected wines will also be featured for purchasing by the glass, from our black board listing.
French wine dinner – Thursday 7 July 6.30 pm
Those French mountain roads are calling .. but hey, you can easily cycle to Noble Rot and pick the machine up the next day. Come to our French wine dinner to enjoy a truly delicious meal prepared by our guest chef Louis Naepels. Louis was born, raised and trained in Paris and is now working at Lamaros Bodega in South Melbourne. (Lamoros was recently awarded best pub food by Melbourne Timeout magazine).The 3 course dinner will be accompanied by wines chosen by Jordan from the well-known regions of France with some lesser known gems included. $95 pp inclusive.
Noble Rot Wine Club Monday 11 July Don’t miss out as numbers are limited. The 2 Wine Clubs held to date have been a great success. The first featured blends and the opportunity to compare Australian and imported wines; the second focussing on Beechworth …the evenings are characterised by lots of conversation and the chance to taste some particularly special drops. Watch this space to see what will be up for tasting in July. $35pp inclusive.
Portuguese wine dinnerThursday 4 August 6.30 pm. A rustic and full flavoured Portuguese dinner ( well maybe not the salted cod!!) matched with regional wines $75 pp.
